2014 finishes

my love for quilting and sewing really took off this year! i learned so many new things, made so many new friends, and completed so many projects!

i made quite a few pillows, mostly for gifts/commission, but did manage to sneak one in especially for me!


i participated in a valentine’s day garland swap, a strawberry swap, and a mini quilt swap

i joined a bee and made these blocks so far for the other members

i donated an auction item, and tested a pattern


i experimented with zippers and different types of pouches


revamped my etsy shop (ninabooquilts)

participated in a few quilt alongs. didn’t finish any of them, but working very hard on it!!


finished a few full sized quilts (all gifts of course)


and got REALLY good at making drawstring bags!

i also participated in two blog hops, won a free pattern, a fat eighth bundle of liberty of london fabric, and three quilting books.

 all in all, a successful year if i do say so myself!

referring back to my goals for 2014, i only completed one thing off of it…eek! i guess other ideas popped up and became more appealing. hopefully this year i can actually stick to the list and get some works in progress finished. however, i think i will save that agenda for another post…this one has been pretty time consuming
